Wine Merchants since 1993
BRIAU was established in 1993 by two brothers, François and Jean-Paul Briau, founded on a simple principle: the best quality, advice, and service at the best price.
Under the ownership of the Domaines François-Xavier Borie since 2013, proprietor of Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, 5th Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac, and directed by Pierre-Antoine BORIE, the company never ceases to innovate and widen its offer of wines, champagnes and spirits for both private and professional customers, whilst always remaining faithful to the initial concept.
Access to Grands Crus
« BRIAU » is also a trader on the Place de Bordeaux, benefitting from privileged access to the En Primeur* Grand Cru market, which ensures a permanent selection of interesting offers.
BRIAU are situated close to the Jardin Public, in Rue David Johnston in Bordeaux, and are happy to welcome both regular and passing customers on the premises where private parking is at their disposal. Direct mail order sales are also available for both French mainland and export destinations.
*A wine purchased “en primeur” is one bought at an advantageous price from the producer directly after the harvest, when the wine is still being matured. It is delivered to the buyer 18 months later.
“Advice, service, value”
